The French Chamber of Commerce in Great Britain appoints its new Managing Director
The French Chamber of Commerce in Great Britain recently announced the appointment of Sébastien Joly as its new Managing Director. This appointment will take effect on May 1, 2025, marking a new chapter for this institution founded in 1883 and which today constitutes one of the most active business networks in the UK.
With over twenty years' experience in international management roles covering operations and sales, Sébastien Joly brings solid expertise in innovation, climate and energy. Over the past eight years, he has held strategic business development positions at Bureau Veritas in both France and the UK, including Key Account Director and Commercial Director. His recent work has focused particularly on renewable energies, decarbonization and sustainable development consulting.
Emmanuelle Bury-Lucas, President of the French Chamber, expressed her enthusiasm following the appointment: "Sébastien's solid track record in international leadership, his in-depth understanding of innovation and sustainable development, and his collaborative approach make him the ideal profile to support the growth and influence of the Chamber.

He will also steer the events strategy, with a program focused on sustainable development issues, technological innovations and major economic transformations.
