New record for bitcoin before Trump's inauguration
Bitcoin broke its record on Monday, surpassing the $109,000 mark just hours before the inauguration of Donald Trump, who launched his own digital currency over the weekend and is expected to ease regulation of the sector once he returns to the White House.
La première devise numérique par capitalisation a soudainement progressé aux alentours de 6H30 jusqu'à atteindre un plus haut à 109.241 dollars. Elle s'échangeait à 107.553 dollars vers 8H10 GMT.
Le bitcoin évolue désormais à des niveaux loin d'être imaginés il y a 16 ans lors de sa création, et bien au-delà de sa valeur du 5 novembre dernier, jour de l'élection présidentielle, où elle oscillait autour de 69.000 dollars.
